It's a fantastic port and I love having Minecraft on the move. It's a an embarrassment that Nintendo does not officially offer Trophys /A great port, I really like having Minecraft on the mobile. While it's unfortunate that Nintendo does not offer achievements or trophy awards The game does address the issue well.
Technically, everything is in order. The game runs smoothly at 60 frames per second, and the world's size is enough to explore.
Although local multiplayer is a fantastic feature to have, it only makes sense only if you have television. The display on the Switch is too small.
You can download Minecraft if you don't already have it or wish to use it on the go. It's a fantastic port that deserves love .... Expand

Two words Better when you play together. A pretty solid version of Minecraft, already played for about 60 hours in just a couple of weeks.

Minecraft on Switch shows a great balance between portability and functionality. It's more powerful than other portable devices, such as iPad, PSV, and it's portable, which means you can play it wherever you want, as opposed to consoles that are powerful like the PC, Xbox, and PS4. People, please quit complaining about how this version is not better than the console version. Can you play a good version of Minecraft on the subway using Xbox or PS4 (not the less-expensive version available on iOS, PSV)? In general, this Switch version makes me want to play Minecraft more often than ever before and I think it's an excellent choice for Nintendo Switch. The only drawback currently is the cost compared to other platforms (though it comes with some nice DLC texture packs and Mario mode). ).... Expand

A great game for any platform! The only issue with the Switch version is that you aren't able to join your own rented servers..

It is horrible to use Minecraft on the Nintendo. It is so frustrating. I'll play minecraft on my computer whenever I would like to. My kids feel the exact way! Zero/10 soMinecraft for the switch is horrible. It's a complete pain. I can play minecraft on my computer whenever I want to. My children feel the same!
